SELL TICKETS TO WELLINGTON JAZZFEST January 26th to February 3rd Earn 50% of ticket price toward your student's individual band budget!!!
WHAT: Saddle Up for JazzFest Wellington Featuring 12 jazz artists and local high school jazz band students performing live. Headliners: Mindi Abair and Friends featuring David Pack and Jeff Golub
WHEN: Feb 10th and Feb 11th 2012
WHERE: International Polo Club Palm Beach General Admission seating is $40 for Friday night and $60 for Saturday with a bundled rate of $80. VIP packages are $100 for Friday and $125 on Saturday and bundled for $199. Next-to-stage tables for 10 with VIP packages are available for $2000. All VIP Packages include up-close dedicated seating section, back stage/meet and greets, beer and wine tickets, autographed CDs from some of the performing artists, and a 2-year subscription to JAZZIZ.

Play-A-Thon Friday, September 23rd & Saturday, September 24th Play-A-Thon is the fundraiser where everything the students earn goes directly into their budget!
This is a chance for relatives, friends, and neighbors to contribute to the arts! Students collect pledges for this 12 hour marching event. Pledge sheets are available on the web site and have been handed out in class. The first four hours of Play-A-Thon is simply the football game, September 23rd. The remaining 8 hours will be Saturday September 24th from 8:00am - 4:00pm.
Students may pre-order a lunch from Chick-fil-A. Section leaders will take orders during band practices. Order now, pay on the day.
WE NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS! For both shifts Saturday (8:00am-12:00pm and 12:00pm-4:00pm)
WE NEED DONATIONS! Apple juice, orange juice, cranberry juice, cream cheese, and cut up fruit (we need lots fruit!)

Coupon Books
The final, absolute end date for returning coupon books is Sept 22nd!!!
Please be aware than any books not returned by then will be considered an obligation.
Please turn in all money for coupon books by Sept 22nd in the form of a check or money order made payable to WBBA. Checks should be placed in the Ways and Means box with the student's name and "coupon books" written in the memo.

Car Wash Saturday, November 5th from 12:00pm to 5:00pm Blockbuster at Forest Hill Blvd. & Wellington Trace
Students can sign up in the band room. Students who participate need to follow the Village of Wellington's rules:
- Wear shoes at all times during the car wash.
- No bathing suits without shirts covering them.
- No students may leave the car wash to cross the street and get food.
- No students may enter into traffic to get money from passing cars.
All students should bring towels, sunscreen & water. NO WATER WILL BE PROVIDED. Students may also bring a snack if they plan to work the entire car wash.

Band Scholarship Dinner “An Afternoon in Little Italy” Sunday, November 13, 2011 - 1:00 to 4:00pm Join us in the Wellington High School cafeteria where the Mighty Wolverine Sound Marching Band and Jazz Band will entertain you while you enjoy a spaghetti dinner catered by Ron Pollack, Executive Chef of JB’s on the Beach.
Menu includes Pasta, Garden Salad and Homemade Bread. Tickets are $10.00 per Person. Invite Family, Friends, Neighbors, everyone is Welcome! Come spend the afternoon listening to great music while you enjoy a delicious dinner and help our kids further their music studies. Last year’s scholarship dinner helped raise money to send many students of our band members to summer camps!
All Meal tickets will be entered for a drawing of random door prizes.

Poinsettia Fundraiser November 14th to December 2nd Floral Acres Nursery of Boynton Beach has once again offered the Wolverine Band Boosters Association the opportunity to sell poinsettia plants for the holidays and help raise money toward your student's band budget.
COST: $20.00 ($8.50 goes in the student's individual band budget) COLOR: Available in white or red. Please specify on order form. If no color is specified, then traditional red will be ordered.
Delivery: Dec 8th time TBA ALL SALES ARE ON A PRE-ORDER BASIS AND MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE!
Please make checks or money orders payable to WBBA, Wolverine Band Boosters Association with all proceeds going to help support the Wellington High School Band! Please remember to write the students' name with the word "poinsettias" in the memo section of the check so we can be sure to credit the budget accurately.
