Staying connected with the band is crucial!

Announcements from the Director of Bands and members of the Wolverine Band Boosters Board are circulated frequently via email, our communications lifeline. To enable the timely distribution of email to over 200 email addresses without getting hung-up in internet spam filters, we have established a group list service on Yahoo.

To receive emails, each student and parent needs to create a Yahoo ID and join the group as soon as possible.

Follow the steps below to get connected:

• Create a Yahoo ID – Go to http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/wellingtonhsband/. In the upper left hand corner you will see New User? Sign Up. Click the Sign Up link and follow the instructions to create your Yahoo account/ID. Note: Yahoo automatically creates a Yahoo email account when you create a Yahoo ID. If you want your band email to come to the email account that you currently use, be sure to enter that email address and indicate the alternate email account as your primary email address.
• Join the group - After your Yahoo ID has been established then you must click on the Join This Group! button. Follow the instructions and click on the Join button at the bottom of the page.
• Complete the registration process – Your request to join the group will be forwarded to the WHS Band Email Coordinator for approval. You will receive an email requesting the student and parents names associated with this email address. Once this information is received, your registration will be approved.

If you have difficulty getting your email established, send the WHS Band Email Coordinator an email  from the email account you want to receive band emails.
